Kimberly offers an integrative and comprehensive approach to mental health and healing that honors the dynamic interplay of mind, body, and spirit. As a New York State Licensed Psychotherapist, EMDR Specialist, and Couple Therapist with nearly two decades of private practice experience and post-graduate training, she brings depth, compassion, and expertise to her work. She supports discerning midlife women, men, and couples in navigating emotional, relational, and physiological challenges. Recognizing that many emotional and relational struggles arise from subtle imbalances among these dimensions, she invites a thoughtful and collaborative exploration of their roots.

As a holistic psychotherapist, she offers classical therapeutic approaches combined with modern evidence-based healing practices using relational and depth-oriented psychology practices with specialized trauma modalities, including EMDR, Ego State Therapy (Parts Work/IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Shadow Work, Energy Psychology, Hypnosis, Curated Lifestyle Protocols, and Somatic Psychotherapy practices. This trauma-informed framework transcends the limitations of symptom-focused care, helping clients experience deep and lasting transformation that supports true emotional freedom.

about kimberly

With nearly two decades of experience in traditional psychology, yoga, energy healing, alternative practices, and holistic wellness, my private psychotherapy practice for New Yorkers offers a multidimensional approach to mental health rooted in both clinical expertise and embodied healing practices.

I graduated with high honors from New York University's clinical social work program and am an advanced EMDR practitioner, somatic psychotherapist, trauma resolution specialist, and mind-body medicine practitioner.

Clients benefit from personalized protocols that may include nervous system regulation, breathwork, targeted nutritional strategies, and safe, natural solutions such as supplements and herbal medicine. My training allows me to support those seeking a holistic, trauma-informed path to emotional resilience, brain health, and full-body wellness.

When I’m not in session, I gravitate toward experiences that nourish mind and spirit: time on the water, long trails, open skies, and adventure travel. I balance that with a love of curated antiquing and photographing the quiet beauty in everyday life. I travel between the Berkshires in Massachusetts and New York City. Learn More About Kimberly

Boutique private practice Offerings

As an integrative psychotherapist, I offer comprehensive care including wellness across dimensions for women, men, and couples who are seeking expert, individualized support beyond traditional talk therapy. This boutique, concierge-level practice is designed for clients who value discretion, flexibility, and deep, therapeutic work. I provide flexible scheduling, extended session times, and an intimate, highly collaborative therapeutic relationship, during and between appointments. Through same-day availability, personalized care plans, or direct access outside sessions, my priority remains delivering exceptional, tailored support that promotes sustained mental well-being.

Individualized 360° wellness Care

At Holistic Therapy & Wellness NY, therapy is rooted in a mind–body framework. Traditional talk therapy and psychodynamic approaches are offered alongside EMDR, somatic work, and complementary methods informed by psychology and trauma science. This integrative model addresses both psychological patterns and physiological responses to stress and trauma—because focusing solely on cognition or behavior often falls short of full healing. Sustainable transformation requires engaging the nervous system, the body, and emotional and relational dynamics. The goal is integration—bringing fragmented or neglected parts of the self into alignment for greater balance and wholeness.

Seasoned, Fully Credentialed Expert

Work with a seasoned psychotherapist with nearly two decades of clinical experience and ongoing advanced training. My specialization includes trauma-informed psychotherapy, EMDR, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, somatic practices, and integrative mind–body medicine practices. I support individuals and couples navigating complex emotional and relational challenges, including developmental trauma, attachment injuries, burnout, identity transitions, intimacy concerns, and high-functioning anxiety. This work is individualized, emotionally attuned, and grounded in evidence-based practice blended with depth psychology. The focus is on lasting transformation—nervous system repair, psychological renewal, and the cultivation of a more authentic, balanced, and meaningful life.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your first appointment is an opportunity to begin building a thoughtful, collaborative therapeutic relationship. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to change or understand more deeply. Prior to our meeting, you’ll complete a comprehensive intake questionnaire, which we’ll review together to gain a nuanced understanding of your history, values, and goals.

The initial sessions may include discussion of emotional patterns, physical health considerations, relationships, lifestyle factors, stressors, and coping strategies. This holistic perspective helps clarify contributing influences on your well-being and informs a personalized, integrative treatment plan designed to support meaningful and sustainable change.

When appropriate, additional assessments or referrals may be discussed to further support your care.

  • I offer an integrative, trauma-informed approach to psychotherapy tailored to the unique needs of each individual or couple. My work draws from evidence-based and depth-oriented modalities, including EMDR therapy, somatic psychotherapy, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Treatment may also incorporate nervous system regulation and mind–body approaches when clinically appropriate.

This integrative model allows therapy to address not only symptoms, but the underlying psychological, relational, and physiological patterns contributing to distress—supporting lasting emotional resilience, insight, and meaningful change.

  • This is a boutique, concierge-level psychotherapy practice designed for depth, discretion, and individualized care. I intentionally work with a limited number of clients, allowing for extended sessions, flexible scheduling, and a highly attuned therapeutic relationship. Treatment is integrative and trauma-informed, combining EMDR, somatic psychotherapy, and depth-oriented approaches to address both emotional patterns and nervous system regulation.

What distinguishes this work is the integration of clinical rigor with a whole-person perspective. • In some cases, yes. I may work collaboratively alongside an existing therapist when the focus is specialized or complementary—such as EMDR, trauma processing, or nervous system–based work—while your primary therapist continues ongoing care. This is considered on a case-by-case basis and depends on clinical appropriateness, clarity of roles, and your specific goals.

When this model is used, collaboration and clear communication are essential to ensure continuity of care and therapeutic alignment.

They have a shared desire for meaningful change and emotional freedom. I also bring extensive experience supporting public figures, performers, and other high-profile clients whose lives unfold in the public eye, offering a discreet, attuned space to explore the pressures and vulnerabilities that accompany visibility and success.

As a licensed psychotherapist, I provide professional assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for a range of mental health conditions. My approach integrates clinical depth with an attuned, relational style that honors both the science and the soul of healing.

  • Deciding whether to see a therapist or a psychiatrist depends on your unique needs, goals, and the nature of the challenges you’re facing. At Holistic Therapy, EMDR & Wellness New York, I often help clients clarify this distinction. A therapist—such as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) like myself—offers talk therapy and integrative, somatic-based approaches to help you explore emotional patterns, process trauma, regulate your nervous system, and improve your relationships and overall mental wellness. Therapy is ideal for those navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational difficulties, burnout, or unresolved emotional wounds. A psychiatrist, on the other hand, is a medical doctor (MD) who specializes in diagnosing mental health conditions and prescribing medications when needed. Many clients benefit from a collaborative approach, where they work with a therapist for in-depth emotional healing while consulting a psychiatrist for medication support, if appropriate. In my boutique New York City practice, I take a holistic, root-cause approach that often reduces or complements the need for medication through trauma-informed psychotherapy, EMDR, and lifestyle interventions. However, when medication is necessary or beneficial, I collaborate closely with psychiatrists and integrative physicians to ensure my clients receive well-rounded, compassionate care.
