The holistic & integrative lens guiding this practice

My work is grounded in a relational, attachment-informed understanding of how early experiences shape emotional patterns, identity, and the ways we connect with others. I view symptoms not as isolated problems to eliminate, but as meaningful adaptations — signals from the nervous system that deserve curiosity, compassion, and careful attention.

Drawing from psychodynamic and interpersonal theory, we explore how past relationships and formative experiences continue to influence present dynamics, often outside of conscious awareness. Emotion-focused (EFT principles help us access and process underlying feelings that drive anxiety, depression, self-criticism, or relational tension.

This lens is trauma-informed and nervous system–aware. I pay close attention to how stress and overwhelm live in the body, recognizing that lasting change requires more than insight alone. Healing involves integration — cognitive, emotional, and somatic.

Within this foundation, I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS) somatic therapy, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and solution-focused interventions as clinically appropriate. These modalities are not used in isolation, but thoughtfully integrated into a cohesive, individualized process.

Because mental health does not exist apart from the body, I also attend to the foundational elements that support emotional stability — including sleep, nourishment, movement, and stress regulation. When appropriate, we may explore integrative nutrition, targeted supplementation, and lifestyle adjustments as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. These elements are approached thoughtfully and collaboratively, supporting nervous system balance and overall resilience. By strengthening the body’s capacity to regulate and recover, psychological work can take root more sustainably.

Grounded in contemporary neuroscience, therapy is not only about insight — it is about reshaping patterns in the brain and nervous system. Through neuroplasticity, the brain retains the capacity to reorganize and form new neural pathways across the lifespan. When we intentionally practice new ways of relating to thoughts, emotions, and relationships, those pathways strengthen. Integrating principles from positive psychology — such as cultivating self-compassion, gratitude, meaning, and resilience — further supports this rewiring process. Rather than simply reducing symptoms, this work helps build emotional flexibility, deepen well-being, and reinforce the internal resources that allow for lasting change. Healing is not only about resolving what hurts, but also about strengthening what sustains you.

At its core, my work honors the complexity of being human — supporting you in developing insight, emotional resilience, and a deeper sense of internal stability and self-trust.
