In my therapy practice, I regularly meet people who are trying to learn how to love again—after betrayal, loss, or the slow unraveling of trust. They’re thoughtful, self-aware, and often successful in many areas of life, yet intimacy feels like the final frontier: something longed for, but fraught with fear.
